Verizon Media’s Services & Data Controllers in Europe, the Middle East & Africa

Except as set out below, “Verizon Media” means Verizon Media EMEA Limited, the Irish established company that supplies the Services to you (and acts as data controller of the personal data Verizon Media collects when you use those Services). If you are a user of HuffPost UK, Sky | Yahoo Mail or BT | Yahoo Mail, the following applies: 

• HuffPost UK user, “Verizon Media” means Verizon Media UK Limited, the UK established entity that controls personal data Verizon Media receives when you use HuffPost UK, but please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited controls data received when Verizon Media delivers ads on HuffPost UK. What this means is that Verizon Media UK Limited provides the content and other services on HuffPost UK - and controls any data that is received by Verizon Media when you view and use such content and services. But Verizon Media EMEA Limited is responsible for the ads that appear in and around HuffPost UK content and services - and controls any data that is received by Verizon Media when Verizon Media provides those ads.
• Sky | Yahoo Mail user, "Verizon Media" means Verizon Media UK Limited, a UK established company, which acts as a controller of personal data in relation to your use of Sky | Yahoo Mail, and the Messenger (in webmail), Calendar, Addresses and Notepad products within Sky | Yahoo Mail. Sky UK Limited is also an independent controller of this personal data. But please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited provides advertising in and around such Sky | Yahoo Mail products (and controls data relating to such advertising).
• BT | Yahoo Mail user, "Verizon Media” means Verizon Media UK Limited, a UK established company, which acts as a data processor for BT in relation to your use of BT | Yahoo Mail, and the Messenger (in webmail), Calendar, Addresses and Notepad products within BT | Yahoo Mail. But please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited provides advertising in and around such BT | Yahoo Mail products (and controls data relating to such advertising).
