Except as set out below, ‘Verizon Media’ means Verizon Media EMEA Limited, an Irish established company that provides the to you (and acts as data controller of the personal data Verizon Media collects when you use those Products).
If you are a user of HuffPost UK, Sky | Yahoo Mail or BT | Yahoo Mail, the following applies:
- For HuffPost UK users, ‘Verizon Media’ means Oath (UK) Limited, the UK established entity that controls the personal data Verizon Media receives when you use HuffPost UK. Please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited controls data received when Verizon Media delivers ads on HuffPost UK. What this means is that:
- Oath (UK) Limited provides the content and other services on HuffPost UK - and controls any data that we collect about you when you view and use such content and interact with HuffPost UK.
- Verizon Media EMEA Limited is responsible for the ads that appear in and around HuffPost UK content and services - and controls the data collected about you when you interact with those ads.
- For Sky | Yahoo Mail users, ‘Verizon Media’ means Oath (UK) Limited, a UK established company, which acts as a controller of the personal data in relation to your use of Sky | Yahoo Mail, Calendar, Addresses and Notepad products within Sky | Yahoo Mail. Sky UK Limited is also an independent controller of this personal data. Please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited is responsible for the ads that appear in and around such Sky | Yahoo Mail products, on other Verizon Media owned and operated Services, and on non-Verizon Media sites, apps, and services (and controls the data collected about you when you interact with those ads).
- For BT | Yahoo Mail users, ‘Verizon Media’ means Oath (UK) Limited, a UK established company, which acts as a data processor for British Telecommunications PLC in relation to your use of BT | Yahoo Mail, Calendar, Addresses and Notepad products within BT | Yahoo Mail. Oath (UK) Limited is also a controller in respect of data collected about you for spam, malware, and virus detection and in order to improve the features and functionality of BT | Mail. Please note that Verizon Media EMEA Limited, an Irish established company, is responsible for the ads that appear in and around such BT | Yahoo Mail products, on other Verizon Media owned and operated Services, and on non-Verizon Media sites, apps, and services (and controls the data collected about you when you interact with those ads).
