This page describes Verizon Media EMEA Limited’s affiliates. We define an “affiliate” as any company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another company or companies.
Verizon Media EMEA Limited has two distinct affiliate groups that we identify in our Privacy Policy: Verizon Media Group and Verizon Communications. The way we share and receive data with those affiliate groups differs as described below.
Verizon Media Group
Verizon Media Group is a division of Verizon Communications that focuses on digital media and advertising. Our consumer brands include Yahoo, HuffPost, Autoblog, Engadget, TechCrunch and AOL. These brands provide content, commerce and mail services through our ; to hundreds of millions of users. We also provide advertising and technology solutions through like our Verizon Media Ad Platforms, Flurry and Ryot to a global network of publishers, advertisers and other partners.
As set out in our Privacy Policy, Verizon Media EMEA Limited will share data within Verizon Media Group for a variety of purposes, including to provide you with the Products that you requested, to protect and defend our systems against unauthorised access or use, and to provide you with personalised experiences and ads. The main entities within Verizon Media Group with which we share your data include:

Verizon Communications
Verizon Communications is one of the world’s leading providers of communications, information and entertainment products and services to consumers, businesses and government entities. Verizon Communications has two strategic business units: Verizon Consumer Group and Verizon Business Group.
The Verizon Consumer Group provides wireless and wireline communications services and products to consumers and households. The Verizon Business Group provides wireless and wireline communications services, as well as other video and data services, corporate networking solutions, security and managed network services, including in the Internet of Things (IoT) space to public and private business sectors.
The Verizon Consumer and Business Groups operate alongside but separate from Verizon Media Group. Those business groups also operate under Verizon’s privacy policy, which may vary by jurisdiction and is distinct from the Verizon Media Privacy Policy. Any data that we may share with Verizon Communications will be shared in accordance with user controls provided by us, Verizon Media EMEA Limited and used in accordance with Verizon Communications’s privacy policy.
