Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Center, if you provide Verizon Media access to your Gmail data, Verizon Media`s use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:
- Verizon Media will only use access to provide features in its email clients such as the ability to compose, send, read, and process emails (including attachments) and will not transfer this Gmail data to third parties unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Verizon Media will not use your Gmail data for serving advertisements. Verizon Media will not allow humans to read your Gmail data unless (1) Verizon Media has your affirmative agreement for specific messages, (2) doing so is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating a bug or abuse) or to comply with applicable law, or (3) Verizon Media’s use is limited to internal operations and the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
