By entering the $1,000,000 NBC Sweepstakes on Yahoo Fantasy also known as the “NBC Sports Fantasy Frenzy Sweepstakes Powered by Yahoo Fantasy” (“Sweepstakes”) you (or, if you are an eligible minor in your place of residence, your parent or legal guardian on your behalf) agree to abide by all terms and conditions referenced in these Official Rules.

ELIGIBILITY: This Sweepstakes is only open to legal residents who are physically located in the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (“DC”), who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. If you are 18 years of age or older but are considered a minor in your place of residence, you must have the permission and consent of your parent or legal guardian to participate in this Sweepstakes. You must have a free Yahoo ID in order to be eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes, and have not been subject to any current or previous Yahoo Terms of Service or Yahoo Sports Paid Fantasy Terms of Service violations or suspected fraudulent activities, and be in good standing at the time of entry through November 1, 2024, as determined at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Employees of Yahoo Inc. (“Yahoo” or “Sponsor”), NBCUniversal Media Group (“NBC”), GMR Marketing LLC (“GMR”), and any promotion, other vendor agency, or advertising partner involved in this Sweepstakes (and any other person engaged to work on this promotional program) and each of the above’s respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, (collectively, the “Released Parties”) and the household and immediate family members (defined for the purposes of this Sweepstakes as a parent, spouse, child, and sibling) of such employees are not eligible to enter or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
TIMING: The registration period for this Sweepstakes (see section 3.a. below) begins at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on August 5, 2024 and ends at 3:00 a.m. ET September 5, 2024 (“Registration Period”).

For the chance to earn bonus entries you must draft eligible players by 3:00 a.m. ET on September 5, 2024 (the “Draft Deadline”) and assign them to your starting roster prior to the kickoff of each designated NFL game (each, a “Bonus Entry Deadline”). Bonus entries will be automatically earned during game play up to the entry limits (the “Bonus Period”). See section 3.b. below for complete details.

The Registration Period and the Bonus Period are collectively the “Sweepstakes Period.”
HOW TO ENTER:
1. To enter online via a Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football account, To register and automatically receive one (1) Sweepstakes entry (a “Registration Entry”), during the Registration Period you must create an new free Yahoo ID account or log into your existing free Yahoo ID account in connection with Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football at https://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com, and if you have not already done so, join or renew an eligible free 2024 Yahoo Fantasy Football Season Long Private League, and check the designated box to register for the Sweepstakes as instructed. Your Yahoo ID and Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football profile are collectively your (“Account”).
  
  Only free 2024 Yahoo Fantasy Football Season Long Private Leagues (“Eligible League(s)”) are eligible for participation in this Sweepstakes. Custom leagues are NOT eligible for participation in this Sweepstakes.
  
  (1) Updating Yahoo Sports Fantasy Football Profile Account Information: Potential winners who registered and earned an entry online will be notified using the contact information in the Account used to earn an entry. Your Account information, including first name, last name, preferred email address, and phone number, must be complete, correct, and current in order to be eligible to win a prize. You can verify/update your Account information by following the instructions at https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6128.html.
  
  (2) Creating a Yahoo Account: Go to the Sign Up page (https://login.yahoo.com/account/create?.lang=en-US&.intl=us&.src=yhelp), enter your information in the required fields. Click Continue and follow the onscreen prompts to verify your mobile phone number.
2. For the chance to earn bonus entries by playing Yahoo Fantasy Football: Provided you have registered and earned a Registration Entry online for the Sweepstakes as described in 3.a. above, for the chance to earn Bonus Entries, you must draft players into an Eligible League in your Account prior to the Draft Deadline and assign them to your active roster (each, an “Active Player”) prior to the start of each of the designated NFL games listed below. The Active Players on your active roster within Eligible Leagues in your Account during each eligible game are considered your “Team.”
  
  You will automatically receive one (1) additional Sweepstakes entry (“Bonus Entry”) when an Active Player on your Team scores a touchdown as confirmed by the game day referee (a “Touchdown”) in one of the following designated 2024 NFL games (each a “Game”) during the Bonus Entry Period:
  
  (1) Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 8:20 p.m. ET – Baltimore Ravens vs. Kansas City Chiefs televised on NBC.
  
  (2) Friday, September 6, 2024 at 8:15 p.m. ET – Green Bay Packers vs. Philadelphia Eagles streaming live on Peacock.
  
  (3) Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 8:20 p.m. ET - Los Angeles Rams vs. Detroit Lions televised on NBC.
  
  You must draft your Active Players prior to the Bonus Entry Deadline in order to be eligible to earn Bonus Entries based on Touchdowns that occur in the eligible Game(s). The deadline to make final Active Player selections is the kickoff for each of the eligible Games.
  
  Touchdown Criteria for Bonus Entries:
  
  i) Limit up to seven (7) Bonus Entries during the Bonus Period per person/Account holder (“Bonus Entry Maximum”):
  
  (1) Each eligible Touchdown by an Active Player in any of the Games earns one (1) Bonus Entry up to the Bonus Entry Maximum, subject to the below criteria:
  
  (a) Bonus Entries can be earned across multiple leagues and teams, but there is a limit of one (1) Bonus Entry per Active Player per Touchdown.
  1. For clarity, an entrant who has the same Active Player on multiple Eligible Leagues or teams will only receive one (1) Bonus Entry if that Active Player scores one (1) Touchdown. Also, if an individual Active Player scores multiple Touchdowns, the entrant will earn the commensurate number of Bonus Entries up to the Bonus Entry Maximum.
  (b) If two players are involved in a Touchdown and they are both your Active Players, you will earn one (1) Bonus Entry for each Active Player (for example, if you have a Quarterback and a Tight End as Active Players and together they complete a pass to score a Touchdown, you would receive two (2) Bonus Entries – one (1) per Active Player – up to the Bonus Entry Maximum.
  
  (c) The following Touchdown scoring categories are eligible to earn Bonus Entries:
  1. Passing Touchdown
  2. Rushing Touchdown
  3. Receiving Touchdown
  4. Return Touchdown
  5. Offensive Fumble Return Touchdown
  6. Defense and Special Teams Touchdown
  7. Kickoff and Punt Return Touchdown
  8. Individual Defensive Player Touchdown
  The Sponsor reserves the right to invalidate any suspect entries, in its sole discretion. Entrants may be disqualified at Yahoo’s sole discretion if they participate in this Sweepstakes using multiple Yahoo accounts or by managing teams within the same league in excess of the stated limits as defined herein.
3. Entry Limit: Limit one (1) Registration Entry and up to seven (7) Bonus Entries for a maximum of eight (8) total entries per person/Account holder. The use of automated devices to enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for lost, late, or misdirected entries or any computer, online, telephone, or technical malfunctions that may occur.
WINNER SELECTION/PRIZE: On or around September 17, 2024, GMR will randomly select one (1) potential Grand Prize winner from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. All random drawings will be conducted under the supervision of the Sponsor, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.
1. One (1) Grand Prize: One Million Dollars (US $1,000,000), to be awarded as a one-time electronic fund transfer into the confirmed Grand Prize winner’s verified United States bank account. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Grand Prize is $1,000,000.
2. The total ARV is $1,000,000.
  
  The prize is not transferable, and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions of any kind.
  
  All federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes) related to a prize, if any, as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the winner’s responsibility, regardless of whether the prize is used in whole or in part. The Sponsor/GMR will comply with all tax reporting requirements. All prize details are at the Sponsor's sole discretion.
  
  Winner may wish to seek professional advice from a tax advisor or financial planner to discuss how to manage the tax implications of accepting the Grand Prize. If an eligible minor wins the Grand Prize, it will be awarded to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf.
WINNER: The potential winner will be notified and confirmed as follows:

GRAND PRIZE WINNER: The potential Grand Prize winner (“Potential Winner”) will be notified on or about September 24, 2024 via email and/or phone, depending on the availability of valid contact information in the profiles of their Yahoo ID or Yahoo Fantasy Account used to participate in this Sweepstakes. Email notification will be made from info@GMRpromotions.com. Entrants are advised to add info@GMRpromotions.com to their safe senders list to ensure delivery of any winner notification emails, or to check their email inbox and spam folder. Voicemail messages will be left if the functionality of the Potential Winner’s phone service allows. It is the responsibility of the Potential Winner to ensure their contact details are correct in their Yahoo ID and Yahoo Fantasy Accounts, to ensure email and voicemail services are available and functional, and to check voicemail and email messages for notifications.

The Potential Winner will have five (5) calendar days from the date the first email notification attempt was deployed or the first phone notification attempt was made (the “Notification Period”) to reply via email or phone and provide their response to the presented eligibility questions. If any Potential Winner is not reachable by the end of the Notification Period, the applicable Potential Winner will forfeit the Grand Prize in its entirety and another alternate Potential Winner will be randomly selected as the Potential Winner, who will be subject to the same process. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for undeliverable emails, phone calls, voicemail messages, or other communication including but not limited to any form of filtering, be it active or passive, by an email or phone service provider or for full or unavailable voicemail or email services.

The Potential Winner will be required to complete, sign, have notarized and return the presented affidavit of eligibility, mutually acceptable liability release, publicity release, background investigation consent form, and the appropriate tax documents (the “Documents”) via the secure electronic notary process provided by GMR or other method acceptable to the Sponsor, within five (5) calendar days of delivery of the Documents, and will need to pass a background check prior to being confirmed as the Grand Prize winner. Failure to return the fully executed Documents by the stated deadline will result in forfeiture of the Grand Prize in its entirety.

Background Investigation: The Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background investigation on the potential Grand Prize winner and reserves the right in their sole discretion to disqualify any potential Grand Prize winner based on the results of such background investigation, if the Sponsor determines in their sole discretion that awarding a prize to such winner might reflect negatively on the Sponsor or the Released Parties. Potential Winners agree and understand that based on such results, they may be disqualified if the results are not acceptable to the Sponsor at the Sponsor’s sole discretion and that the specific reason(s) for any such disqualification will not be provided to any disqualified Potential Winner. The results of such background investigation will NOT be shared with the potential Grand Prize winner.

The Potential Winner agrees and understands that they must agree to authorize and cooperate with an independent background investigation by the Sponsor and/or its agents by completing a Background Investigation Consent form in the designated timeframe for an investigation of their background, references, character, employment, education, social media, and without limitation civil and criminal court records or police records, including a review of social media, including those maintained by both public and private organizations and all public records, for the purpose of confirming information provided by the potential winner and/or obtaining other information that may be relevant to qualifications as the potential prize recipient in the Sweepstakes.

If a notified Potential Winner is not eligible, forfeits Prize, or declines Prize, an alternate winner may be randomly selected as the Potential Winner, time and circumstances permitting, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Return of any prize notification or Prize as undeliverable or failure to accept any Prize within the specified time period may result in disqualification and forfeiture of Prize.
Publicity Release: Winner further grants to Sponsor and NBC in connection with the Sweepstakes, Yahoo Sports, and Yahoo Fantasy, the right to use of their name, picture, image, likeness, voice, video, biographical information and statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes or for any other reason Sponsor and NBC sees fit, without limitation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, and on the Internet and World Wide Web, without additional notice, consent, review or approval, and without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
ADDITIONAL TERMS: By entering, entrant agrees to accept and abide by the Official Rules of this Sweepstakes and agrees that any dispute with regard to the conduct of this Sweepstakes, rule interpretation, or award of prize, shall be resolved by Sponsor, whose decision shall be binding and final, and not open to appeal. By entering, entrant (and, if an eligible minor, their parent or legal guardian) agrees to be notified by the Sponsor/GMR for the purposes of the administration of this Sweepstakes using the contact information provided by the entrant/provided in the entrant’s Yahoo ID or Yahoo Fantasy Account profiles, and contact information provided by any potential winner. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any injury, loss or damage to person, including death or property damage due, directly or indirectly to the acceptance, use, or misuse of a prize, participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity, or participation in the Sweepstakes. The Released Parties are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of this offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of prizes, including such error as may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won. In the event the Sponsor is prevented from continuing with this Sweepstakes, or the integrity and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is undermined by any event including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, health concern or emergency, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, regulation or recommendation, order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within the Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure" event), the Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to abbreviate, modify, suspend, cancel, or terminate the Sweepstakes without notice or further obligation. If the Sponsor, in its discretion, elects to abbreviate the Sweepstakes as a result of a Force Majeure event, the Sponsor reserves the right, but shall have no obligation, to randomly select the winner(s) from among all valid and eligible entries received up to the time of such Force Majeure event. Such winner(s) will be notified via email from info@GMRpromotions.com via the email addresses or phone numbers associated with their Yahoo ID or Yahoo Fantasy Account profiles.
DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW: All disputes concerning the construction, interpretation, validity, effect, and enforceability of these Official Rules will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflicts of laws provisions. Entrant (i) agrees that exclusive jurisdiction over any legal action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes will be in state or federal courts located in or nearest to the State of New York and by entering consents to such jurisdiction and venue; (ii) consents to resolve any such claims individually and without resort to class action; and (iii) agrees that all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event will attorney’s fees or punitive, incidental, consequential, or any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses will be awarded.
INTERNET: If for any reason the Internet portion of this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes. Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. In any such events, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, will randomly select the winner(s) from eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the event requiring such termination, suspension, or cancellation. The Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. The Released Parties are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the Yahoo ID or Yahoo Fantasy Account. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a Yahoo ID.
USE OF DATA: Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely for purposes of administering the Sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which is located at https://legal.yahoo.com/us/en/yahoo/privacy/index.html. This includes any personal data an entrant directly provides to GMR during the prize fulfillment process and winner data that GMR may retain in accordance with applicable law. Please note that by entering, you are accepting these Official Rules and the terms of the Yahoo Privacy Policy.

WINNER LIST: The first name and last name initial of any major prize winner (prizes valued $100 or greater) will be available via email. To request a winner list for this Sweepstakes, draft an email with the subject line “Winner List-$1,000,000 NBC Sweepstakes on Yahoo Fantasy” and send it to info@GMRpromotions.com. This list will be available for at least thirty (30) days after October 31, 2024.
