We don’t use your information for advertising.

Who are we?

We are Yahoo International Limited, and our office is in Dublin, Ireland.

What do we do?

We run websites and apps where you can read news, sports, finance, and entertainment, search for information, and use your email.

To provide these services and to make them work, we need to collect and use some information about you.

We also count the number of visitors to our pages, the type of device they use (iOS or Android), the browser they use, and the duration of their visit to our websites and apps. This data is collected in aggregate and is not tied to specific users.

What information do we collect and when?

When you create your email account, we need:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your date of birth
  • Usernames and passwords

When you use our services, we collect some information automatically on our websites and apps. This includes things that identify you and your device online, like an IP address or other unique identifiers.

When you contact us, we may use all the information we have about you and any information you send us.

Who do we share this information with?

Sometimes, we work with other companies to run our websites and apps. We only share your information so they can help us with this.

We work with these companies:

  • other Yahoo companies
  • companies that help with storage and security
  • search partners
  • companies that protect your rights and safety

If a company buys us or some of our services, we will also share your information with them.

If you or your parents want to know more about how these companies use your information, you can contact us here: dpo-contact@yahooinc.com. We will only use your or your parent’s email address to answer your questions and then we will delete it.

When do we make changes?

Sometimes we need to make some changes in our websites and apps. If we do and they include changes to the way we might collect or use your information, we will post a notice to tell you.

What can you do?

We work hard to keep your information safe. We use the best tools and methods to protect it.

You can do the following (subject to applicable laws):

Ask

We must tell you what information we collect about you and why. This helps you or your parents make the right choice.
